Happiness Index of Muslim Countries vs. Western Countries

Happiness Index:— Muslim countries on average have a happiness index (HPI) of 34.26%, however this average score is masked by relative population sizes.[1] Overall, almost 58% (57.42% in actuality) of the Muslim population or 738 million (737,844,000 in actuality) showed a happiness index of close to 50% (49.44% in actuality); whilst 100% of the population (1.285 billion) showed a happiness index of slightly more than 34% (34.26% in actuality).[1] This data suggests the majority of the Muslim population are neither happy nor unhappy (content with their lives), whilst the rest of the population (547 million) is unhappy at a happiness index of approximately 32%.[1] Western nations have an overall happiness index of 43.0%, however, similarly to the Muslim HPI results, this result masks key differences in data. For example, similar sized countries shows stark differences in data; the United States of America (population ~300 million) and Indonesia (~250 million) have a happiness index of 37.3% and 55.5% respectively.[1] Similarily, Iran (~76 million) and Turkey (~74 million) and the United Kingdom (~65 million) have happiness indexes of 41.7%, 47.6% and 47.9% respectively.[1] The top ten most populous Muslims countries tend to have a happiness index of 48.17% (covering 953,617,400 people). The top ten most populous Western countries tend to have happiness index of 43.86% (covering 709,164,000 people).[1] A number of Muslim countries are more happier than even the richest of Western nations.[1]
